 This very creative and colourful designed country house is situated on the hillside above Playa Blanca in approx. 200 m height above sea level (5 km above the village Playa Blanca on the ridge), with fantastic wide views to the ocean and the islands Lobos and Fuerteventura. This accommodation is perfect situated far enough from Playa Blanca but near enough to enjoy all the amenities of a modern tourist center. Here you can relax and enjoy the nature of Lanzarote, the hills and the panoramic views. On the other hand it's easy to drive down the 6 km to the beaches, the village, the shops, the supermarkets and restaurants in the resort of Playa Blanca!  Lovely rustic apartment on the countryside - built in a typical Lanzarote style - very comfortable and spacious - perfect to relax on the terrace or in the garden under the dragon tree, apart from all the other tourists, quiet and surrounded by individual private atmosphere.This country apartment is built in an extra building complex and offers a spacious and comfortable living-dining-sleeping room with a double bed in a rustic open bedroom (see image right), dining area or breakfast area, a small built-in wooden kitchen with fridge, water kettle, hob - perfect for self-catering (see photos above in the Photo Gallery).
The bathroom offers a large shower, a toilet and a waschbasin and its lovely rustic and colorful design welcomes you with warm atmosphere.  The extra studio is a spacious room (living room with extra bed sofa for relaxing hours or a third person to sleep) and a desk where you may connect your laptop to the internet (WIFI - wireless connection with PC card). This living room is reachable through a romantic patio with lovely pots and plants - a good and quiet place for reading a book. The studio has a terrace with sitting area in the shadow under the dragon tree with fantastic wide ocean view (see foto below) to the islands of Lobos and Fuerteventura. A third terrace - on a higher level and "round the corner" will offe spectacular views to sun sets in the sea - if the sometimes strong blowing wind from the mountain gives you the chance! This terrace offers as well chairs, table, sun umbrella - perfect to sit and enjoy a glass of red Lanzarote wine watching the sun diving under water...  Wide panoramic ocean views overlooking garden and landscape. Leisure Activities and Sightseeing of LanzaroteThe place is perfect as starting point for a walk to the mountains which are arround, as there are the Atalaya mountain (610 metres of hight) the Pico Redondo (550 m) and the Hacha Grande (561 m ), all reachable from Finca Maciot by walking. In Playa Blanca and the area around you may find tennis, bike rental (mountain biking), diving (Marina Rubicon), surfing, jogging, fitness center and wellness center (in several hotels available). A new golf course you can find in Tias / Puerto del Carmen, which is about half an hour car drive away.
 Very near (6 km by car) you find the famous Papagayo Beaches with its sandy bays and cristal clear water. In Playa Blanca there are some other lovely beaches (Dorada Beach, Playa Flamingo), supermarkets and shops, restaurants and bars, pubs (English bars and Irish bars) and a long shopping area only for pedestrians as well as the lovely beach front for walks more than 10 kilometers.Sightseeing: By car you are in some minutes at very interest places and well known restaurants, for example Femés (Casa Emiliano) or at the Timanfaya Park with its "Fire Mountains" (volcano mountains of Lanzarote). Also there is the very interesting wine road (La Geria of Lanzarote) where you may enjoy some wine in a Bodega... The lovely fishing village El Golfo also is not far away - famous for good fish dishes and perfect sun sets!  View to the house from the south side to the mountain Atalaya. Rental Charge Finca Maciot 2 Persons per week: € 700,- ( 3 Persons pere week € 780,- )Price per week = 7 nights. Addition on the price per day for shorter rental periods than one week are possible. All prices are in Euros (€) and validated for the whole year - we do not have season prices! The prices are for the above mentioned persons - adults and children have same prices.
