 The house is in the village "La Degollada," near the village of Yaiza. The property is situated in an offside valley in a small rural village. There is no sea view but there are lovely rural mountain views down the valley to Yaiza and the La Geria wine area as well as up to the Atalaya mountain (609 m).Distance to Yaiza is about 4 km, distance to Playa Blanca and the Papagayo Beaches or the sandy Dorada Beach is about 20 km also the same to Puerto del Carmen. Yaiza offers shopping possibilities as super market, farmacy, fruit shop, tourist shops and a handful of good local restaurants.  Description of the Holiday Home
This lovely Holiday Home offers all you need for a basic but comfortable holiday stay in authentic rural environment of Lanzarote. Very calm, no traffic, no tourists, no bars and no gift shops... Here you will stay in the middle of the smooth valley surrounded by Lanzarote nature.
The house has a light sitting room (without TV, without Internet connexion), a perfect bedroom with double bed and wardrobes, an extra room beside the bedroom for meditation or yoga, thinking or what ever you want to do there. This small room could also be used as sleeping room for a third person. Further on there is a small kitchen with gas hob and sink, a dining table for 2, a lovely bathroom with WC and shower and outdoor space to appreciate the sun, the fresh air, the lovely views, the gardens and the calm countryside of this valley.  All rooms are with terracotta tiles, wooden ceilings and lovely furniture. Some meters from the main house you find another room and a lovely terrace. This empty room can be used for painting artworks, doing exercises, yoga etc. Beside this room is a terrace with basic outdoor furniture but with splended views to the valley. Its free to enjoy for you for example as breakfast terrace to watch the sun rise... (see photo gallery)
Arround the house there are lovely gardens with lots of cactus plants - big ones, tiny ones, tall ones as well as agaves, real aloe vera plants, trees and bushes. You may enjoy this fantastic rural Lanzarote environment with wide fields and a natural landscape.

Leisure Activities and Sightseeing of LanzaroteThis home is perfect for mountain hiking or bike tours. But also in Playa Blanca and the area around you may find tennis, bike rental (mountain biking), diving (Marina Rubicon), surfing, jogging, fitness center (Yaiza offers a large fitness hall). A new golf course you can find in Tias / Puerto del Carmen, which is about half an hour car drive away. In about 20 km car drive to Playa Blanca you will find the famous Papagayo Beaches with its sandy bays and crystal clear water. In the village of Playa Blanca there are some other lovely beaches (Dorada Beach, Playa Flamingo), supermarkets and shops, restaurants and bars, pubs (English bars and Irish bars) and a long shopping area only for pedestrians as well as the lovely beach front for walks more than 10 kilometers.Sightseeing: By car you are in a couple of minutes at very interest places for example the Timanfaya Park with its "Fire Mountains" (volcano mountains of Lanzarote). Also there is the very interesting wine road (La Geria of Lanzarote) where you may enjoy some wine in a Bodega... The lovely fishing village El Golfo also is not far away - famous for good fish dishes and perfect sun sets!
