Location of Casa Gaida This large country house is situated above of the small village Macher - in the Area of La Asomda on the moubntain ridge. The house is situated on a 14 hectare estate, comprises of gardens, cultivated areas of volcanic ash and fruit trees... leading directly to the mountains and the Natural Park of La Geria (the famous wine area of Lanzarote). For those who enjoy hiking, there are various footpaths leading from the house itself to beautiful areas in La Geria and Timanfaya Mountains.Casa Gaida is more than a country house, but classical embracement of what is most authentic of the magical island, Lanzarote. Casa Gaida is only 10 minutes drive from the airport, 15 minutes to the southern point and 30 minutes to the northest point of the island - perfect for all the sigtseeing locations.  Casa Gaida gives you the atmosphere of an authentic historical country house.
Description of Casa Gaida
 Traditional Canarian architecture, built aproximately 2 centuries ago. The house provides large rooms with thick walls and high ceilings giving plenty of light and stable temperatures – fresh in summer and warm in winter. It has been restored in accordance with the philosophy of César Manrique: light, spaces, art. The house has 4 large comfortable bedroom, two of them with double bed and two others each with 2 single beds. There are 2 stylish bathrooms with shower. The lounge has views to the island and to the ocean and is comfortable to relax or to look TV if you are not outside on the pool terrace. The large kitchen in typical country style design gives you the chance to prepare your breakfasts or dinners perfect at home: ceramic glass cook-top, oven, dish washer, fridge, freezer, toaster, coffee machine and crockery for all. A dining table for 6 in the kitchen and a second sitting area with panoramic windows - upstairs some little steps - is perfect to read or to look down to the ocean. The private pool is situated on the very large sun terrace with ocean views and gives you the daily chance to swim in the warm pool water. The terrace also provides with a pool bar or little kitchen with table for 6 under the wooden shady cover. Everything is very personally and individually decorated.  Leisure Activities and SightseeingThe central location of this house is a perfect place as starting point for all sightseeing tours to the interesting hotspots of Lanzarote. In Puerto del Carmen you may find tennis, bike rental (mountain biking), scuba-diving, surfing, fitness center and talahassi center (in several hotels available) as well as shopping opportunities, bars, restaurants and nichtclubs. The new golf course of Puerto del Carmen (Tías) is just 15 minutes car drive away.
Sightseeing: By hired car you are in some minutes at all very interest places, for example the Timanfaya Park with its "Fire Mountains" (volcanic mountains of Lanzarote), the very interesting wine road (La Geria of Lanzarote) where you may enjoy some wine in a Bodega with "tapas"... and lots of other famous locations and sightseeing spots: please see our virtual sigtseeing tour.
